Looking for a Christian man to join our house, the CU Anschutz Catholic Men's House!
We have an immediate opening for a room in our house located at 11275 E 23rd Ave, Aurora, CO 80010,
just 8 blocks west of campus, near Stapleton/Central Park; a short walk/bike ride to Bluff Lake Nature Center or the Stanley Marketplace, 20 minutes from DIA, near the I-70 & I-225 junction.
Rent is approx. $625/month, before utilities, and optional parking in the two-car garage (details below).
This is the perfect spot for a young-adult student at the nearby University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus who values the Christian faith, or for a young professional working in the area, who is interested in living with 3 other Catholic guys who practice their faith and desire intentional living.
We have a shared house meal each month, host a men's and women's Bible study that meets at the house Mondays, 6:30-8:30pm, we also regularly do stuff together (i.e., trivia nights, go dancing, skiing/boarding, hiking, work on cars, have house parties, free rides to the airport, etc.), and support each other: professionally, personally, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. In short, we're a house of brothers!
Our house is kept clean and is quiet, so work-from-home is easy! It has spacious storage in the basement to keep all of your gear. We have a nice outdoor patio/breezeway with a rocking chair, outdoor couch and coffee table, and fire-pit!
The house is a recently remodeled (over $110,000+ investment), 2,500 sq. ft. rancher with 4 bedrooms (3 similarly sized rooms upstairs and a master bedroom in the basement), 2 full baths, a 2-car garage, a nice covered outdoor "breezeway," and plenty of storage space for all your gear. The property is professionally managed and maintained by Re/Max Millennial. This would be a 1 year (12 month) lease from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023. You can break the least without penalty as long as you work with us to find a replacement guy for your space. Opportunity to renew the lease at the beginning of July 2023.
Rent is approx. $625/month, not including utilities: water, gas/electric, trash/recycle, fiber-optic internet (200 Mbps down/200 Mbps up), and shared house expenses (toilet paper, paper towels, cooking oils, soap, etc.); which usually total ~$60-70 on avg. per person per month; however, the price of rent is subject to change whether you want a space in the garage (~$25/mo., negotiable).
Professional lawn care is included in the cost of the rent.
